Mirrors are a great way to brighten up any living space and make it feel more expansive especially rectangle wall mirrors.
There are so many designs just for rectangular wall mirrors alone, whether it be decorative, for vanity, and just a simple entryway mirror.
They add a very nice touch to your rooms as well, as they appear longish and stretch out a feature wall easily.
Whichever your reason for finding a rectangle wall mirror, this post is here to make life easier for you!

Where to position your rectangular mirror?
As far as wall mirrors go, they can either play a leading role or as a supporting cast. It helps to ask yourself which of these you are trying to achieve before placing them.
Do you want it to make the room look bigger? Or do you want it to reflect the sunlight during the day? Or will be it the main feature of a gallery wall?
Here are some ideas:
Consider placing a large size rectangular wall mirror against a wall. That will make a beautiful feature in that particular corner where you dress up.
In your bathroom, try using a large mirror above the basin area. This is especially effective in smaller bathrooms, where the mirror serves to “open up” the space available. A shadowbox mirror would be a unique addition that adds storage space too.
Moving on to your kitchen, experiment with a small rectangle mirror on a cupboard door. This will give it a glazed door effect.
Have a gallery wall? Mix in a rectangular wall mirror among the collection of your favorite photos or wall art.
Do you have an outdoor space? Place a rectangle wall mirror in a spot that can best reflect the garden/backyard. It creates the illusion of another garden in your home and makes it look so much “larger”!
Which type of rectangle wall mirrors should you choose?
The only limit to this is really your own imagination.
Rectangle wall mirrors come in all kinds of designs, and can easily blend into the decor or become a centerpiece on their own.
If you want it to become a prominent feature, choose one that has a bold frame design. I personally tried using Art Deco mirrors, bronze rectangle Mirrors as well as extra-large rectangle mirrors to achieve this effect.
If you are craving a warmer look, always opt for wood wall mirrors. These are our goto in our farmhouse.
And finally, don’t forget about wall mirrors with lights. They are super useful in bathrooms as well as dressing areas.
