Entertaining guests out on your patio is a great way to spend the afternoon or evening. There’s always something special about hanging out outdoors and sipping a cold drink, mingling with friends and family alike.
That also means you need to get your patio ready for the occasion, and making use of bar or counter height fire pit tables is a fantastic way to host. I personally add on a few fire pit signs to make it even more welcoming.
They make it easy for a bunch of guests to gather around a fire pit to enjoy drinks and a nice conversation, and munch on snacks without having to bend down. I don’t know about you, but as the night goes on, I think it’s really cool to be able to dance and grab your drink easily!
Even if you choose to use chairs around it, they are super easy to get on and off.
The problem is, they are so hard to find though, but luckily, I’ve got a bunch of suggestions for you.
In this post, I will share my selection of the best bar and counter height fire pit tables and how you can go about choosing the right one for your home.

How to choose a fire pit bar/counter height table
If you’re looking to add a little bit of class and flair to your outdoor space, then a bar height fire pit table is the perfect way to do it.
Not only are these tables beautiful, but they provide a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the fire. If you’re in the market for one of these tables, here are some things to consider.
Well, obviously the height will play a big part in the selection of your fire pit table. Since we are talking about counter and bar heights, it’s best to know the commonly accepted dimensions as a reference.
Typically, a counter height table measures between 34 to 36 inches while a bar height table measures between 40 to 42 inches.
Just for comparison sake, a regular dining table stands at 28 to 30 inches tall.
Bar height fire pit tables come in various sizes.
They range from 36 inches up to 84 inches long.
If you have a smaller patio or deck area, then you may want to get a table that is 36 inches long.
This will allow two people to sit comfortably on each side of the table without feeling crowded by other guests at the party.
On the other hand, if you have a larger patio or deck area, then it might be worth investing in a 72-inch long table so that more than four people can sit comfortably around it at once without having too much space in between each seat!
Another thing to consider when choosing a bar height fire pit table is whether or not it will be used by children. If yes, then look for one that has protective features such as mesh or glass cover screens so that no one gets hurt while playing around it!
This will protect them from being burned by embers that may fly out of the fire pit when lit.
It is much better to invest in a set that is made of high-quality material such as premium-grade aluminum, and they have to be weather-treated to withstand the elements.
A good set will ensure that you can use it for a long time, but it can also fetch a good resale value when you decide to change it in the future.
The same can be said if you are getting matching seats too, and you need to pay attention to the seat cushion fabric too.

I hope this article has helped you to choose the right fire pit table for your home just as how I used it to get mine.
